NTFS Streams
View, create, edit, and remove NTFS Alternate Data Streams (ADS) attached to files and folders.
Overview
NTFS Alternate Data Streams (ADS) are hidden data streams attached to files and folders on NTFS volumes. Common examples include the Zone.Identifier stream added by browsers to mark downloaded files. The NTFS Streams tool lists all streams on a file, shows stream sizes, and lets you view their content.
Managing Streams
Add new named streams, edit existing stream content, or remove streams entirely. Batch-remove Zone.Identifier streams from downloaded files to remove the “this file came from another computer” warning. Export stream content to separate files for analysis.
