Folder synchronisation with five direction modes, four compare methods, real-time folder watching, and persistent sync jobs.

Sync Directions

Five sync directions cover every workflow:

  • Mirror A to B — one-way copy from A to B (default).
  • Mirror B to A — one-way copy from B to A.
  • Bidirectional — two-way sync where the newer file wins.
  • A Only Differs — show what differs in A compared to B.
  • B Only Differs — show what differs in B compared to A.

Compare Methods

Four methods for determining whether files differ:

  • Date + Size — compare last-write time and file size (default, fast).
  • Hash — cryptographic hash comparison (slow but 100% accurate).
  • Quick Size — file size only (fastest).
  • Content — byte-by-byte comparison (definitive).

Real-Time Watch

Enable the real-time folder watcher to automatically sync changes as they happen. When a file is created, modified, or deleted in the source folder, the sync engine immediately mirrors the change to the destination. Ideal for keeping a live backup or mirror up to date.

Sync Jobs

Save sync configurations as persistent jobs. Preview all changes before executing. Apply filter profiles to include or exclude specific files. Sync jobs can be added to the operation queue for batch execution.
